Human foot Splinter - How to remove

This is a toughy! I walked outside barefoot and received a splinter that I couldn't see. Try as I might, I couldn't get it out. It healed over and left a ball that is really sore. First time, I poked and drained it. But, it came dorsum. Next, I've been soaking information technology in soapy, salt h2o. It gets itchy and sore then I tried cortisone, which helps a footling. The affair won't go away and it has been 3 weeks. Information technology keeps me from sleeping sometimes. The pare is growing over the bump, so I don't know if I should pause it open or leave it. Grease it out. One traditional technique for removing splinters is to smear on a lilliputian bit of bacon fat so cover it with an adhesive strip.

Well, the skin grew over it, so I would accept to literally dig in to get it out. It wasn't fifty-fifty visible, so I wouldn't even know where to dig.

Come across a physician!! Why allow a footling splinter grow into a total infection? Don't let these exist i of those should have'due south but didn't kind of situations...
